Javier

   Javier Acosta revolves his life around his family and his service to the Borough of Ridgefield. Javier and his wife Jackie are bringing up their three children Olivia, Alex and Matthew with a firm grounding in family and religious values.

Javier volunteers his time with the Ridgefield Recreation Program, has cooked for the town luau as well as other town and recreation sponsored parties and for the town's pool facility. Javier is also a volunteer in the Ridgefield Fire Department , attending and graduating from Fire School. Javier also dedicates his time to the High School Cheerleading Squad, where he has cooked at various fundraising functions raising significant monies for the Squad, and is presently a Commissioner for the Ridgefield Youth Commission.

Currently he is the owner of Blue Line Pool Management Company where he oversees 144 employees and 23 sites. Javier also owns Blue Line Snow Plowing.

Previously, Javier served two terms on the Ridgefield Borough Council. While a Councilman, Javier was able to serve on many committees for the benefit of the Borough, which included the Library, Recreation, Police, and Chairman of the DPW Committee. During his tenure on the Council, Javier was able to expand town services, while improving the quality of life for the young and old.

A victory this year will enable Javier to continue to fight to improve the quality of life for all of Ridgefield's residents, and keep the two party system in place.
